NFL Pick 5 Football Pools

Pick 5 Football is a variation on a regular Pick'em pool, where each entry picks only 5 games of the full slate each week. The entrant chooses which 5 games to take from all possible games that week. Most Pick 5 pools will pick against the spread for added difficulty. This format is very similar to the huge SuperContest run by the Westgate in Vegas that all of the top handicappers participate in. This type of pool tends to be for the more serious participant.

How to Play

  1. Entrants pick the winners of any 5 games they choose each week of the NFL regular season.
  2. For each correct pick, the entry earns 1 point. If the team selected ties or pushes (in spread pools), the entry gets a half point.
  3. The entry with the most total points at the end of the regular season is the winner.
  4. There is no limit to the number of times a team may be selected.

Options

Spread - Judge outcomes based on the Hosted Pools listed spread.

Perfect Weeks - Have a weekly carryover (or shares) prize until an entry scores a full 5 points in a week.

Pick 5 Football Pools will be available on or before 2023/06/01 12:00pm.

Site News

  • Feb 4, 2023 - We've completed our updates, and the site is available again. If you notice any issues, please let us know as soon as possible so we can try to resolve them quickly.
  • Jan 31, 2023 - As this coming weekend is an off-weekend for both the NHL and NFL as far as games that count go, we are planning to do some server upgrades. The site may be intermittently unavailable through the weekend.
  • Jan 5, 2023 - The NFL has officially cancelled the Week 17 game between Buffalo and Cincinnati. As a result, our site policy treats any selection of either team the same as No Pick, consistent with what we did during the Covid affected seasons. That said, some pool managers are making other accommodations with their pools, and we're willing to work with them to do so. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out via the contact page.
  • Jan 2, 2023 - Tonight's Bills/Bengals game has been postponed by the NFL. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Damar Hamlin, along with his family and both teams on the field tonight. We will follow up with more information as the league makes it available.
